Toronto-based writer Greg “Ritallin” Frankson is a poet, arts educator and media personality. He was the resident poet for CBC Radio One’s afternoon show Here and Now Toronto (October 2012 to August 2014) and was one of four people selected after a nationwide search for the CBC TV special program Canada’s Smartest Person, aired in March 2012. Greg’s debut collection Cerebral Stimulation was published in 2006, and his words have since appeared in numerous anthologies, compilation CDs, chapbooks and musical collaborations. In 2012, Ritallin won the national team poetry slam championship with Toronto Up From The Roots and placed second at the Canadian Individual Poetry Slam. Through his creative services consultancy Cytopoetics, Greg works with youth in schools and community as a presenter and performer, and with businesses and social services agencies as a facilitator, keynote speaker and creative services consultant.
